The Algeria-UK – Education Forum 16th June 2022

Top United Kingdom companies led by the prestigious Pearson Group, will be taking part in a conference on British expertise in education, professional and vocational training

The conference will be taking advantage of British know-how recognised all over the world, for all forms of professional training with speakers flying in for the occasion.

They will be led by Guzel Yukselici, Channel Manager, MENA, Pearson Group, and Guy Elders, Director, MEA, English Language Learning, Pearson Group.
They will present their different platforms that offer a range of training from the English language, to Oil & Gas, Tourism, banking, etc.

The Conference‘s Keynote speeches will be made by Algerian Government Representatives

It will be supported by a speech by the British Ambassador to Algeria, H.E Sharon Wardle And The Chairman, Algeria British Business Council, Lady Olga Maitland

The event is being organised by Mr. Lotfi Ghazi, British Campus, Algeria, who will open the Conference.

Other speakers include:

Mr. Andrew Straughan, Associate Director, Africa, Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, Northern Consortium United Kingdom, NCUK
Who will present a range of higher education programs available from International Foundation years in Engineering, Business, Humanities and Science, International Year One in Business Management and Pre-Master in Management and Life Sciences. As a member of their 45 universities around the world (26 are based in the UK with six as part of the High Level, Russell Group)

Other topics to be addressed will be an overview of the Algerian market, its challenges, and responses with representatives from the relevant ministry for education, vocational training, and employment.

There will be first-hand experiences delivered in a panel from Petrofac, the Algerian Private sector, Sonatrach, and a British company TBC.

There will be a case study of the benefits of Vocational Training from first-hand experience by Matthew Anderson, Managing Director, TVETUK

New training methods and technologies will be examined as the conference looks ahead to meet the increasing demand,

The conclusion and summary will be made by Mr. Lotfi Ghazi, British Campus, Algeria
