New data protection laws – May 2018

At Algeria British Business Council, we have always taken your privacy seriously. We never share members’ personal data with third parties. However, from May 2018 the UK will be adopting new regulations about how organisations, including Algeria British Business Council, are able to request, store and use personal data.

Your data is safe with us and we make sure that only ABBC management has access to it, so we can keep you updated on changes to your membership and other relevant information affecting your membership.

As part of these changes to the law we have already contacted you by a newsletter and provided you with an option to opt out from future communication should you wish so. If you have not received this email or for any other reason did not notice the option to opt out, you can always contact our Data Collector and request an update to how you would like to be contacted.

We’ve made the process as simple as possible; If you wish to change your preferences at any point in the future, you’ll find a link to do so on all emails you receive from us.

Alternatively, you can contact our Data Collector, Lyn Prendergast on infopaconfidential@gmail.com. Please note that, irrespective of your new data preferences, you will continue to receive communications related to your membership or ticket purchases.

Thank you for updating your data preferences as soon as possible. If you have any questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to contact Lyn Prendergast, our Data Collector, on infopaconfidential@gmail.com
